After dropping his bag off in the lab, Gaster teleported to Grillby's house. The muffled sound of laughter brought a smile to his face. The forest was peaceful, the occasional chips from a bird of the light foot falls of a small animal created calm atmosphere that never went silent. Half a month later and the random periods of pain never went away, neither did the constant exhaustion, or the fact that he was still unable to use magic. The pain was easy enough to hide, and with semi-periodic naps made the exhaustion bearable. The one thing he couldn't hide was the fact he couldn't use magic, for some reason his body was 'eating' it up so fast it was 'depleted' pretty much always.
