The Lost Memory: chapter 2, Heart shards

"And so he got blown up sky high, it was really funny."

Sky chuckled and nodded.

Next time that fish should be more careful, TNT does that."

As if on cue, a certain amphibious creature shouted from another from "I'm not a fish!"

Both broke out in a fit of laughter. He nearly jumped when something tapped against his shoulder. Doing a fast 180 turn, Sky almost bumped into Ty.

"Meet me in the garden late." He said, the walked off before Sky could say anything.


Time moved by quickly. Both Jasen and Ty kept one eye on Sky, never leaving sight of the brunet. Soon the little get-together ended.


With a happy sight, Sky walked out onto the grass, his black shoes in one hand.

The small, green blades were soft under  his soles. The wind whistles as it danced through the trees, playing a sweet melody.

The garden was filled with different colored flowers, all in full bloom.


Ty watched Sky crouch down and examined a pale blue petaled flower, one gloved thumb caressed a pastel petal. Then he plucked the flower and brought it to his nose, his mouth in a soft smile.

Ty approached him from behind, and grabbed his shoulder as he rose to his feet. Turning him around, Ty stared at Sky a moment before pressing his lips to the brunet's.

The kiss lasted only a moment, but in that moment it felt like a lifetime. He could feel eyes staring at him, but ignored them, this was his moment of joy.

Pulling back, he avoided Sky's eyes.

please, think about it." he said, then ran off.


Jasen watched in disbelief as Ty kissed Sky.

It had only lasted a moment, but that moment hurt more than anything.

He watched as Ty spoke, than ran off. His best friend had just kissed his secret love. His heart twisted into a not. Sky was still dazed, eyes wide and mouth partly open.

Against his better judgment, pain and hidden love yanking him forward, he walked up to the brunet. Sky looked at him, and that confused look in those golden eyes urged him forward.

Placing his hands on Sky's shoulders, he kissed him.  

It only lasted a moment, and when he parted from Sky, he felt empty. He felt someone's gaze burning into his back, most likely Ty, but he didn't care.

Then he ran, he didn't say anything to the bewildered and confused Sky, just ran away.


Sky stared forward, his eyes wide and his mouth slightly ajar. It felt like a dream, like this wasn't real and he was going to suddenly wake up. But he didn't, because this was reality.His legs have out, then the hold on his emotions.

The flower in his hand fell as tear burn his eyes and fell free. A sob escaped his lips as he fell to one side and curled into a tight ball to cry.

"Why? why? why?"

He didn't know what to do, he was torn in two. His two dearest friends just confessed, and he didn't know what to do. The grass was cool beneath his face, and his tears were hot.


The wind whistled in the trees, the soft melody made a calm and soothing song, a sweet lullaby.
